Most people are intimidated by wine and therefore end up buying the same brand over and over. Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits wanted to reach consumers to give them confidence to expand their buying habits.  They knew the better informed the consumer, the more confident the buyer, the more sales for Southern.  

The Solution

Your Guide to Wine

We created “Your Guide to Wine” in both English and Spanish, a custom platform with videos featuring Professor Chip Cassidy, renown wine expert and dedicated professor.  He shared his lifetime of wine knowledge with consumers. His down to earth approach taught consumers, in the second largest wine market in the U.S., tips ranging from how to read wine bottle labels, to how a read a wine menu.  The digital platform featured only brands he recommended.  

What if I had a wine expert to help people be less intimated about wine? That, in a nutshell, is what Ely recommended we do. We did and our brands loved it.
