The Challenge

Educate on the dangers of distracted driving

Every year people in the US are injured in motor vehicle crashes involving distracted drivers. Allstate Insurance was looking for a new way to educate the public on this deadly issue while also creating an opportunity to increase engagement with their agents in South Florida.

The Solution

Action Against Distraction

ActionAgainstDistraction.com, a custom online platform, was designed to create awareness and highlight the risks of distracted driving situations. Teens who were involved in serious accidents shared their stories and lessons learned. Allstate agents were also featured, giving statistics about the loss of life and costs associated with distracted driving. People were encouraged to make a commitment to stay distraction-free on a companion website.

“Action Against Distraction” was a marketing platform which was a first for our office. Our corporate office recognized this campaign as a “Best Practice” for our key markets.
